I had my dream wedding here but apart from the stunning venue it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing staff. They went above and beyond for me, doing everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. Food was delicious and piping hot. Venue was so clean and grounds were exceptionally maintained. Totally underrated. I’ll be forever grateful
Staff are brilliant- extremely attentive and friendly.
Food is fantastic and drinks reasonably priced.
We slept wonderfully in our room. It was immaculately clean, quiet and also was stocked up with lots of fluffy towels, dressing gowns and slippers. Bed and pillows very comfy! Really nice touch that they leave a bottle of water in your room - very helpful especially after a few drinks!
The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Great selection of food, brilliant haggis. The perfect hangover cure!
We will certainly be back!
Great hotel with lovely staff and such a nice setting. Can’t highlight just one member of staff as all we met were lovely and helpful.
We loved sitting in the lobby and having a drink (lots to choose from, including cocktails and beer. Our stay included a room in the Main Building, Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and a summer cocktail.
We had an accessible room, as I am a wheelchair user. It was very good with lots of space to move around and the bathroom was well set up with grab rails and a seat in the shower. The decor is classic but new, the only improvement could be more sockets.
The included breakfast was a buffet and also a menu that you could order from. The buffet food was nice but not always very warm and the eggs were much better ordered fresh.
We, unfortunately, didn't get to enjoy the afternoon tea, as we arrived late. But we did have dinner in The Jockey Club Restaurant. It’s a small quaint room at the back of the hotel, with windows that look onto the racecourse. Our servers were lovely and really hyped up the food.
We ordered starters and mains, plus got an amuse bouche. Would highly recommend eating here.
I can’t recommend it here enough, Best place to stay in Ayr!
I stayed in Ayr this week for work and I booked in here for one night.
The hotel reception and restaurant staff were very welcoming & greeted by a nice smile. Very professional.
The rooms I stayed in were nice and spacious albeit a bit old fashioned but clean and spacious. The towel robes are lovely and heavy quality.
The breakfast was very good all freshly prepared.
The hotel and grounds are kept very well. Lovely landscaping !
I really enjoyed my stay albeit was a short one.
Nice hotel in a great location, food was good.
The staff were helpful, I did hear some staff talking quite loudly about other guests which I didn't like.... I get it happens but maybe not good in public area
Right so the food was excellent and the staff was friendly. Great location and rooms are nice and big. I must say though my only problem is that in a 4 star hotel I would expect complementary shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste. Perhaps some biscuits to go along with a cup of tea as well.
Stayed for 2 nights for my birthday.
Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
Food was really nice and breakfast choice was brilliant.
Room on last night was really warm, even though we had window open I had a poor sleep. But wouldn't stop us going back again.
Had a lovely afternoon tea for a recent function I attended. The food was fresh and well presented. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was very tastefully decorated and clean.
